Another one bites the dust

Its old news that many expats fled Dubai when the crisis started leaving behind enough abandoned vehicles to make some really awesome Transformers (sorry, just watched the movie last night). Some reports say that more than three thousand cars were left at the airport alone. I’m sure it’s more.

Even months later, I can’t help but laugh at some of the messages written on dusty abandoned vehicles. Here are a few of the better ones :)

Phishing in the Middle East

Khaled received this phishing email asking him to “verify” his bank account details. We receive these e-mails on a regular basis, but this one was pretty bad. Even if this were sent to the dumbest person in Dubai, they would have noticed that the bank name was incorrectly spelled.

Well things change pretty quickly in this town, maybe Dubai has been renamed Dubia… who knows!
